Continuing with this ‘wknd recap’ series I’d like to quickly fill you in on what went on this weekend. Starting early Thursday I went on a trip to MSG Network for one of the classes I’m taking. It was so interesting to see the background on what it takes to broadcast one of these shows. I actually took the train there and snapped a pic of my shoes. I’ve been loving these silver oxford shoes I picked up a few weeks ago… blog post to come soon. I haven’t taken the train in a while because I drive everywhere and I realized how much I still hate taking them. What should’ve taken me 20 minutes took me about an hour and a half, so frustrating.
Friday night I went out for a bite to eat with my boyfriend, we went to a seafood spot called Extra Fancy in Williamsburg. Honestly it was good but definitely overpriced for what they were serving. On Saturday I spent my morning with some homework. I can’t wait for this semester to be over! To wind down I went for a quick bite at Mominette in Bushwick, $1 oysters! Need I say more?! Afterwards my boyfriend and I checked out a thrift store that just opened up in the area. I love thrifting and finding things you wouldn’t typically find in a regular store, I also love finding a good deal.
It was our 10 year anniversary this Sunday and we obviously just wanted to enjoy each others company. I’ll spare you all the intimate details.. ha! But it was also Easter Sunday so we went to church and spent the rest of the day with family and ended the night with The Walking Dead and some snacks.
How was your weekend? Let me know in the comments below.
